Just a Thought.

In the paper on Friday... this was published.

On December 08, 2004 75-year-old Vera Braswell was brutally murdered at the Columbus Farmers Market.

On March 24, 2005 Linsey Favors was charged with her murder. The former DA announced on October 25, 2005, that this would be a death penalty case. To date, Mr. Favors has not been brought to trial for this crime. Is four years not long enough?

How long should a family have to wait for justice to be served? Some might think that as long as he is behind bars then justice has been served, but that is simply not true. This man has not had to answer for the crime with which he is charged, and that is just not acceptable.

Does the new DA care about this victim? I assure you that her family and friends do, and it’s time for the Muscogee County DA’s office to pursue justice for Ms. Braswell and her family. We will all be watching.

It was all about politics.

All about goddamned politics.
